About Us
Cyprus EU Association is founded by a group of Civil Society volunteers with the aim of sharing with Turkish Cypriots, correct information and international developments, together with reactions to this developments.

Cyprus EU Association is committed to democracy and international convention of human rights and respects freedom of entrepreneurship, belief and speech.

KAB, believes in an efficient state structure based on a democratic civil society and rule of law, where state is only focused on its main responsibilities.

KAB believes that Civil Society Organisations are pioneers of Turkish Cypriot Community.

KAB believes that accessing correct information and immediate analysis and reaction to the developments are crucial for Turkish Cypriots’ communal existence on the island.

Cyprus EU Association believes that sustainable peace in Cyprus can only be reached through a comprehensive settlement based on an EU member bi-communal, bi-zonal State, where political equality is safeguarded.
Objectives

To make correct information accessible in Cyprus;

To communicate Turkish Cypriots and the NGOs correct information together with ideas and proposals based on this information.

To generate ideas and proposals and communicate them to local and International authorities and International Organisations;

To channel information that will facilitate Turkish Cypriots’ Harmonisation with Acquis Communautaire;

To help the development of social, legal, political and cultural aspects of Cyprus and its integration with the International World.
Activities

KAB contributes reaching a comprehensive settlement based on an EU member bi-communal, bi-zonal State by its analysis of developments, proposals, roadmaps, action plans and takes part in any other work undertaken with the same objective.

Based on its values and objectives, Cyprus EU Association organises various informative meetings, seminars and visits, publishes documents, prepares and implements projects.

Cyprus EU Association communicates its ideas and proposals via various channels to Turkish Cypriots, local and International organisations and Governments, cooperate with and lobby to them in order to reach above objectives.
